witty-remark's Diaryland Diary

Quotes of wisdom to surrogate absent intelligence?
Or simply too jaded to form a philosophy that is your own?
Enlighten me, can you truly see from your eyes, in spite of your perceptual blindness?
The unsighted have more sight than you, for they have a point fixed upon their view
Hiding in the brushes of defeat, masking what crumbled and collapsed at the base of your feet
But youíre far too ignorant to discern between a world of bliss and one engulfed by gloom
Humanityís compassion pitted against his malevolent doom.
Do the blades of grass still grow green, or have they grown sharp edges? No, no. Youíre far too keen.
NaÔve. NaÔve. Thatís what they all utter.
But ĎnaÔveí is too complementary a word to depict how your hands clung to your face; concealing your eyes
And I watched as your tongue rolled out and mocked the world
What clever being can you quote now?
Who will be willing to stitch back your tongue?
Not I.
For as you see, Iíve lost all sight.
Oh, how inanity comforts oneís plight
