There are some remarks you never forget. No matter how softly or unintentionally they're uttered, no matter if they're one word or one hundred, you remember. They stick to you like spiderwebs. And you lay awake at night thinking about them. And cringe during the day recalling them. And sometimes, sometimes, you gradually begin to build the limits of your life around the edges of those words.
